STRATFORD HOUSE

Stratford House, established by a spin out team from CDC’s South Asia Fund team, provides intermediated solutions to investors in the Indian private equity industry. Prior to founding the firm, the Partners were with CDC for over seven years and held leadership roles in making new commitments to South Asian funds, managing the largest portfolio of Indian funds and managing a portfolio of legacy funds in China and South East Asia.

Stratford House continues to advise CDC on a part of their funds’ portfolio in India and also advises Dayton Advisors, a wholly owned subsidiary of CDC, on its secondaries partnership for India with Coller Capital.

Stratford House intends to raise a fund focused on secondary investments in India which are expected to include, amongst others, participation in restructurings of Indian private equity funds. The strategy of the firm is to develop solutions for both investors and fund managers by facilitating liquidity for investors and providing extended runway and capital for managers seeking to achieve optimum outcomes from their portfolios.
